New product introductions 2024
At this IMM 2024, we introduced new products to our product families and optimize existing collections to ensure they embody our commitment to sustainability and longevity. New designs by Jonathan Prestwich, Sabine Marcelis, Gudmundur Ludvik and Arco Design Studio. All our products, new and existing, are made "for this generation, and the next", and we are dedicated to continuing our legacy of craftsmanship and innovation.
We are arco. We make tables. Have a seat.
New Product | Dew coffee table
The Dew coffee table is designed by the distinguished Sabine Marcelis, and is a follow-up to the Dew dining table. Like the dining table, the Dew coffee table is made to adapt to a variety of spaces–thanks to its organic, sculptural form. And it’s available in multiple sizes and heights, meaning you can nest several tables to create a “landscape” of objects.
Constructed from a solid top and semi-solid wooden frame, the Dew coffee table can withstand the bumps of daily life and is durable enough to meet Arco’s promise of furniture for this generation, and the next.
New Product | Essential Rectangular
The Essential Family’s core member is the Essential Barrel, a solid table designed for the long term.
The family’s latest addition is the Essential Rectangular, an entry-level version of the Essential and (like its forerunner) combines well with the Close chair. Which makes sense: both the Close and the Essential are designed by Gudmundur Ludvik.
The Essential Rectangular is available in veneer and in a furniture linoleum version–a sustainable, biobased material made in the Netherlands.
New Product | Home-Work
Another new addition, Home-Work is a chair inspired by a desire for flexibility. Specifically, how can we adapt the home for work purposes? Or vice versa: how can we make the office feel more like home? Designer Jonathan Prestwich – a frequent Arco collaborator – developed Home-Work to serve both these needs.
Thanks to its optional wheels, Home-Work provides the mobility of an office chair, great comfort and a friendly design, reminiscent of home. Speaking of which, it’s also suited to our collective home, the planet. It’s easy to reupholster, built to last a lifetime, and the version without wheels is made of 95% biobased materials–meaning less environmental impact.
New Product | Extend
With its timeless, compact, and minimalist design, the new Extend slots into any room, whatever your aesthetic or spatial requirements–even urban homes or studio apartments. Its simple form means you can match Extend with various chairs, including the boldest of designs. Meanwhile, this commitment to understatement continues in the ‘invisible’ seam, as well as a wood grain that runs the full length of the table. In other words, it doesn’t appear to be an extendable table until you extend it.
But its subtle looks hide an immodest capacity. Extend can be extended by a full metre. So, when your small room welcomes a big crowd, Extend is ready to accommodate.
